Chairs of standing committees are elected at the general meeting in the same process as the election of the council chair. Construction and Fire Committee
The Construction, Maritime Affairs and Fire Committee handles and develops policies for matters related to disaster prevention and management of disaster-related matters, matters related to construction, architecture and roads and, matters related to fire.
